Pete joined Protected Investors of America in July 2019 and works closely with Denise providing support with retirement planning, research, portfolio management, and reporting. Prior to joining PIA, he worked as a Qualified Financial Paraplanner for other RIAs in the Bay Area. He is currently pursuing the CFP designation and is enrolled in the Personal Financial Planning Program at UC Berkeley Extension. Out of the office he enjoys spending his free time outside and enjoys the endless outdoor activities we have here in California. Originally from the Bay Area, he supports environmental organizations dedicated to preserving the health of the San Francisco Bay and the surrounding watersheds. Pete holds the General Securities License and is a Chartered SRI Councilor. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a primary focus in Economics from California State University, San Marcos.
